The Baldwin Daybed is as beautiful as a grand piano poised in front of a
sunlight window. The rich 42 1/2" tall, poplar wood, curved back arches
upwards--matched by carefully carved sleigh arms. The 32 1/2" high arms are
detailed with elegantly curved legs at 6" wide. These solid wood arms appear
supple--as if a master carver etched out their provocative lines. The daybed has
a marvelous combination of styles--borrowing from the lines of the arts and
crafts period and the curves of the victorian era. A deep mahogany finish is
sophisticated, smooth to the touch and very rich looking.
