This highly attractive Saint Germain Collection is classic Palladian design. The style was made popular in the late 18^th Century by Thomas Hope who was a contemporary of the legendary furniture makers Chippendale and Sheraton. The designs draw upon themes of ancient Athens and Rome and the columns and pilaster moldings reflect the classic architectural signatures of the two Mediterranean cities.

Expertly constructed from Birch Solids and Veneers to standards of old world cabinet craftsmanship, the solid wood carvings, rosettes and hardware have a timeless appeal. The 'Athens' finish has a warm walnut patina with Champagne-Silver tipping that makes a strong statement about the fine quality of this furniture.

This is a wonderful collection of heirloom quality furniture that is amazing value for money. It is quite possible to pay 50% more for furniture of comparable or even lesser quality.

Poster Bed features a scrolled, leather tufted headboard and a metal canopy with hand-hammered iron scrollwork in the corners. Available in Queen and King sizes.
