Louie Phillippe 2 Drawer Nightstand is constructed from an exceptionally clean
grade of solid New Zealand pine. The wood is dried in our own factory
to ensure low moisture content, which prevents warping, twisting, and
cracking. Finish-sanded with 220-grit sandpaper before lacquering and
between each coat to ensure a smooth and durable finish.
The
drawers feature mahogany bottom wood construction and solid hardwood on
the sides and are English dovetailed front and back for long-term
durability. All drawers feature a completely finished,
lacquered interior. Wood glides are used for easy opening and closing
of the drawers and to maintain proper alignment. Back panels on case
pieces are inset for greater strength and stability. Drawers on case
pieces utilize the full dimension of the case box, offering maximum
storage.
