Fretwork, hand carved shells, gadrooning and foliated scroll carving combine with graceful sweeping lines.

The bedroom offers a striking Sleigh Bed with a reeded top rail supported by a frieze of fancy fretwork leading to a field of fancy faced cathedral mahogany on the headboard. The footboard consists of a reeded top rail and field of fancy faced swirl mahogany supported by a border of fancy fretwork on the bottom rail. Also featuring bracketed feet with hand carved acanthus leaf motif. The side rails are over-scaled fancy fretwork with egg and dart molding along the bottom cap with hand carved acanthus leaf motif on each end leading into the design of the overall bed.
