America. Crafted of Cherry, Maple and select hardwoods with Cherry veneers and
accented with African crotch Mahogany, Wainwright boasts a lovely aged patina
with authentic physical distressing such as worn edges, worm holes and rasping.
Box mitered-beading and overlay moldings add authenticity, while accents of
crocodile-embossed leather, woven willow and antique metal add age. The
collection is marked by unique drawer configurations, each a working drawer and
some felt-lined with working locks and keys. and others with cedar interiors.
All drawers are constructed with dovetail joints and feature individual dust
panels to seal each unit.

This Wainwright Round Pedestal Table is a wonderful example of the masterful
workmanship in the Wainwright Collection of fine furniture. The understated,
classic look is a great example of the traditional Round Pedestal Dining Table design that has graced the homes of European nobility for centuries. A modern day improvement on the design is the table extension method. Four quarter round leaves (see detail image) extend the 60" diameter table to 78" for extra seating.
