Inspired by authentic antiques and family heirlooms, Wainwright knows its heritage
– 18th century furniture with an English lineage that has grown up in
America. Crafted of Cherry, Maple and select hardwoods with Cherry veneers and
accented with African crotch Mahogany, Wainwright boasts a lovely aged patina
with authentic physical distressing such as worn edges, worm holes and rasping.
Box mitered-beading and overlay moldings add authenticity, while accents of
crocodile-embossed leather, woven willow and antique metal add age. The collection
is marked by unique drawer configurations, each a working drawer and some felt-lined
with working locks and keys. and others with cedar interiors.
All drawers are constructed with dovetail joints and feature individual dust
panels to seal each unit. |
