Daybeds are used for sleeping and sitting, and usually come in twin size only. They have matching footboard and headboard and one side board that forms the back of the settee. A link spring or attached bed frame is necessary for stability. Daybeds are often used in children’s rooms or as an extra bed in an office or den.
